Biography

Head of Commercial and Power Marketing and CIO at Brookfield Renewable Partners (Europe) Michelle heads up the Power Marketing division for Brookfield Renewable Partners in Europe.

Brookfield Renewable Partners operates one of the world’s largest publicly-traded pure-play renewable power platforms. Its portfolio consists of hydroelectric and wind facilities in North America, Latin America and Europe and totals more than 10,000 MW of installed capacity. In Europe, Brookfield Renewable’s portfolio consists of approximately 500 MW of operating wind capacity across Ireland, the United Kingdom and Portugal, and the company has a wind development pipeline in excess of 1 GW.

Michelle has worked in the Energy industry for six years and within Brookfield is responsible for the Trading, Regulation and Commercial contracting teams. Their mission is to obtain an optimised value route to market for Brookfield assets through Contracting, Trading and Supply.

With a background in IT Michelle is also the Chief Information Officer for Brookfield Renewable Europe and is accountable for providing direction and leadership for the use of information technology across all European business units and functions.
