Simon Braaksma

Biography
After finishing his MBA in 1990, Simon started his career at Citibank, where he held different management positions. In 1998, he moved over to the corporate side and joined Royal Philips NV. At Philips, Simon held various management positions in Treasury, Finance Transformation and Group Control before joining the sustainability team in 2008. His current responsibilities include internal and external reporting on Philips’ sustainability performance, ESG investor relations and the climate strategy of the company. Simon has been involved with the three Power Purchase Agreements which Philips closed so far, is working on various others around the world and is driving the ambition to become carbon neutral in Philips’ operations by 2020.
