Sven Goethals

Biography

Sven Goethals is a Belgian native who grew up and studied in France, where he graduated in International Business Administration.

After a successful international career with the leading power tools and fastening company Hilti in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, Sven started in the PV industry in 2010.

As a sales director at Ikaros Solar, he built the organization which lead to market leadership in the Benelux with more than 150 MW of installed power and many projects for prestigious companies such as Brussels Airport, Philips, Colruyt, Carrefour, Thyssen Krupp and the IKEA group, with whom he negotiated a European Frame Agreement. He joined BayWa r.e. in 2016.

He is as a sales manager responsible for Commercial & Industrial Corporates and coordinates the international Key Accounts to which BayWa r.e offers solutions such as Power Purchase Agreements, EPC offers.
