Jan Jakob Peelen

Biography

Jan Jakob Peelen is a partner in Dentons’ Energy group. He focuses on environmental law, planning, procurement law and general administrative law. He advises energy companies, construction companies, investors and financial institutions on the permits required for the development of large scale (energy) projects in the Netherlands. Jan Jakob also advises clients in the chemical industry and the healthcare and life sciences sector on health and safety and environmental issues, such as in relation to the EU REACH Regulation. Jan Jakob has advised on some of the largest, most complex tenders in the Netherlands, both from a transactional perspective and from a contentious perspective.
