Biography

Andrès Isaza is Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of GE Renewable Energy, a 10 billion-dollar digital industrial start-up that brings together one of the broadest portfolios of the renewable energy industry, including Onshore and Offshore wind, Hydro technologies, blade design and manufacturing as well as all related services. 

The business provides digital and industrial solutions to customer across all the continents with a network of sales, service and manufacturing centers, with more than 22,000 employees present in more than 55 countries.


Andrès joined GE from ABB, where he was most recently Group SVP heading up the global Commercial organisation of the Power Grids and Electrification Products divisions, present in 100+ countries and covering industries and utilities in generation, transmission and distribution sectors, through direct and channel sales.


Andrès began his career with ABB in 1995 and since then he has held increasingly senior sales roles in Europe, US, South America and Asia with responsibility for multibillion-dollar P&Ls, developing markets and deploying commercial organisations.


Andrès earned a master degree in electrical engineering from Genoa University in Genoa, Italy and has been a Lieutenant Officer Instructor at the Antiaircraft Academy in Italy.
