Anne Lapierre

Biography

Anne heads Norton Rose Fullbright’s energy practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, leads the energy team in Paris and co-heads our Casablanca office. She is dual qualified in French and English law.

Anne is involved in a large number of energy transactions related to both renewable and conventional – oil and gas – production. She acts predominantly in project development, construction, financing, acquisition and transfer of projects in the energy sector. She advises developers and industrial clients as well as investment funds and banks.

Anne has more recently been active in the carbon markets and assisted clients on issues related to emissions trading.

Anne is top ranked by international legal directories such as Chambers and Legal 500 for energy and natural resources and international projects. Chambers Global also recommends her as a foreign expert for Africa matters. She is also praised by Jeune Afrique, the Expert Guides, Best Lawyers and Who’sWho Legal.
