Biography
Thomas Elgaard holds an MSc in Economics from University of Aarhus.
Following the studies he has been working in various positions in the energy industry; as trader, portfolio manager, head of analysis and modeling and cross commodity asset manager.
In his last job at Energinet.dk (the Danish TSO) the main task was making ancillary services market based and exchangeable – at Danish and European level.
In his current job at Energi Danmark A/S he is responsible for strategic business development, M&A activities and international relations.
