Biography
Helen Dewhurst is an Associate at Bloomberg NEF, covering corporate renewable energy procurement. Helen focuses on the efforts of large companies to reduce emissions through energy saving measures and increase purchasing of renewables using certificates, onsite investments and direct contracting. She examines the fundamentals of power markets, power purchase agreements, green certificates and how energy policies and renewable energy economics interact to affect corporate renewable purchasing decisions. Helen also builds and maintain datasets that track corporate renewable energy procurement.
Before joining BNEF, Helen worked in sustainable procurement at Accenture, working closely with key suppliers to deliver Accenture’s environmental strategy. She holds a BA in geography from the University of Cambridge.
